LEAD INTO SUMMER 2000:
SENIOR PROM AND GRADUATION !!!
Photos by Maxine

Before we knew it, it was prom night!! Here's Andy and Gary standing in front of the limo that Andy won as part of the prom prize package for the student council drawing. He got his tux, flowers and dinner, too.

Then, both our boys graduated high school!! Their adventure has just begun.

It wouldn't be a complete chapter of Colorado Moments without sharing some of the wonderful sunsets we have had. Maxine was fortunate to catch one of our late August rainbows.

We certainly hope all our Past Moments haven't given you the idea that all we get here is snow. Thats not completely true.

This was such a wonderful snowfall! The wind didn't blow so the blanket was even. It created some interesting works during the night.

One of our tomato cages

This was the view looking northeast from the front of the house. The two trees are on our property. Aspen and blue spruce.

This is one of the aspens we transplanted into the back yard last fall. It seems to be doing well, despite it's winter jacket.

That's the gate at the top of the back yard.

The chairs on front deck. The sky had cleared so the morning sun could shine through.

It had started snowing the day before around 2 in the afternoon. We had been watching the storm develop on the Weather Channel over the previous days.

This is the view to the southwest from our dining area. You can just see the bluffs in Palmer Park

This was the view looking west out the sliding glass doors in our bedroom. The clouds were moving off and the sun was shining through in places.

We took this picture about a half an hour later. It was really turing into a beautiful day. That's Pikes Peak above the clouds. Its over 14,000 feet tall and about 20 miles from our house.
