80 mm Metal Figure Kit
This little cutie was done as one of a two part series on garage kits in the June and August 2006 editions of The Model Kit Report in Hobby Merchandiser Magazine. The kit was well made requiring a minimal amount of prepwork before filling. I painted her with an Iwata HP-CH airbrush and Model Master Acryl Paints. The base was embellished with some rocks created from Balsafoam . I tried to get a laminated look on the sides and edges of the bow by painting thin lines of different colors along the sides and edges of the bow's limbs. The bowstring is a piece of thread hardened with CA glue. Music wire would have been a better solution. A fun kit! This review piece came from Squadron.
