This is Musette. She's an original faerie from the imagination of Rick Barrows at Fogger Studios. She's almost 8" tall with a wingspan just about as big. I saw her first years ago at a fellow Gremlin's website among some show pictures. I got in touch with Rick and within a few days, I had my own Musette. .

I had a great time assembling and painting her.
This is the first girl kit I have built for myself in a long time.

Her base was made from a large block of maple that I picked up at a local woodworker's supply store. What an adventure it was to cut it! The inward curve was the result of a happy accident with the scroll saw and some new rasps.
Her hair was streaked using V-Rush Pens Nail Art Brushes.
