This is my second Musette. The first was finsihed in June of 2000. This one began as a sample piece to airbrush at the National Model and Hobby Show in October of 2000. When I got her home, I stripped the paint I had used at the show and began painting her in ernest. My wife, Maxine, suggested the color scheme.
How her skin was airbrushed will be in the chapter I wrote on airbrushing models in the Ultimate Airbrush Book to be released in the fall of 2001. The book is being compiled by Donn and Pamela Shanteau and published by Watson-Guptill.
Her hair was streaked with V-Rush Pens using Crafter's Pick Brush Strokes to add some texture. Then, it was base coated with violet and streaked with violet mixed with copper and gold paint.
