Sailor Venus
G-Port 1/8 Resin Kit
Another cutie from Sailor Moon. This build-up was commissioned by Ron LaPedis of California.
Sailor Venus was well cast and intellegently engineered. Joints were placed at natural break points, like where her arm comes out of her top. Even tho all joints were keyed, I chose to place pins throughout.
Her base was made from poplar painted black and splattered with white for a starfield effect. Her logo was made by cutting a stencil with frisket paper and airbrushing it on.
The streaks in Venus' hair were painted with V-RUSH Pen Nail Art Brushes
